[Mac McCormick III]

Until yesterday, I hadn't had the opportunity to get on the radio since
before Hurricane Matthew passed by. Thankfully my family and I came through
it relatively unscathed, mostly losing the contents of the refrigerators
and freezer. Compared to what happened to others in the coastal Florida,
Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina areas, we were blessed.

Since I didn't get the opportunity to listen post-Matthew due to how busy
as I was work, I can't offer any insight into the communications used by
the many National Guard, Air National Guard, Coast Guard, federal, and NGO
assets that came into the area to assist with relief and recovery.  Here's
a report from my first day back around the monitoring equipment since the
storm:
