[MilCom] Low flying KC-141 near Emerald Isle NC

Big surprise yesterday.  Around 5:30 PM, I heard a loud roar and looked out the window and saw a KC-141 flying low and slow (estimate1,000 to 3,000 ft.) over the house in Cedar Point NC.  Not an usual flight plan.  I'm guessing since it was a Saturday the pilots were making a diversion from New River MCAS flying towards Bogue MCALF to look at the beach at Emerald Else before heading towards Cherry Point MCAS and points North. Can't think of another explanation.  I don't think Bogue MCALF is big enough to handle that aircraft and there should be no reason it should land there.  Sorry I could not get a shot of it.  Any other info?
