have just uploaded to our Milcom Monitoring Post blog a link to a very unusual HFGCS Foxtrot/Skyking broadcast transmitted on 11175.0 kHz within that net at 1548 2/29/2016 by UDXF’s own Ary Boender. After Ary shared the sound file, we did some digging and we may have found an explanation for the transmission.

You will find a link for the audio and the background on it in our exclusive profile page “What is an EAM” at http://mt-milcom.blogspot.com/p/what-is-emergency-action-message-or-eam.html.
You can also hear the captured audio by Ary in our Milcom Audioboom library collection at https://audioboom.com/boos/4246690-us-department-of-defense-hfgcs-foxtrot-message.

Many thanks to UDXFers Ron Perron and Ary Boender for sharing that audio clip with us. It certainly has advanced our knowledge another nudge on the purpose and intended targets of the HFGCS Foxtrot messages.
