[MilCom] Fwd: [MilRadioComms] Stargazer plane departs Cape Canaveral AFS

Orbital ATK's L-1011 "N140SC" Stargazer carrier aircraft has  just departed 
Cape Canaveral AFS (7:35am EST) to begin its flight to a point  about 100 
miles east of Daytona Beach where, at about 40,000 ft altitude it  will drop 
the winged Pegasus rocket that is strapped to its belly.  F/A-18  "NASA 
846," the chase plane, has taken off as well.
   The Pegasus Rocket will then launch and deploy 8 small  satellites that 
comprise NASA's Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System  (CYGNSS), which 
will be used to analyze winds in Hurricanes. The launch is  expected to take 
place at 8:26am EST.
   I am hearing comms between the Stargazer aircraft and the  launch team 
on the ground on frequencies 133.8 and 264.8 MHz.  If you have  a radio 
scanner, listen in.
