Toward the end of last week and over the weekend, there were clues that
something was afoot at the GA ANG Air Dominance Center (what they now call
the CRTC) at Savannah IAP. I wasn't in town to catch their arrivals, but
F-15s, F-22s, and T-38s began arriving on Friday afternoon and over the
weekend along with a couple of KC-135s. I began to have suspicions that
another Sentry Savannah exercise was in the works and yesterday when I got
back in town it was confirmed; several requests were heard for the "Sentry
Savannah Airspace" by participating aircraft.

F-15s from the 144th FW, F-22s from the 43rd FS, and T-38s from Tyndall are
flying out of Savannah IAP along with KC-135s from the AZ ANG and IA ANG.
F-16s from McEntire JNGB, F-15Es from Seymour-Johnson, and F-35s from MCAS
Beaufort also flew from their respective bases. Many of the frequencies are
the same as the previous exercise in February. (Note: the BLADE heard did
not seem to be a VMFA-115 F/A-18)
