Thanks, for sharing, Jack. I had forgotten about this little incident:

"It wasn't all smooth sailing, though. In August, a Chinese J-11B jet buzzed
one of VP-5's planes

in international airspace 135 miles off the coast of Hainan Island in the
South China sea.

The fighter came within 30 feet of the P-8, then performed a barrel roll
over the American plane. Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. Jon Kirby
described the intercept as "very, very close, very dangerous."
