Hello list members, if you were not able to watch live the memorial
service today for Lt Col Fotenot Jr, who's aircraft crashed in VA, the
three part very emotionally moving Memorial Service video can be seen at:

From a monitoring standpoint, KILLER 1 (3 F15's), initially did some
training out of the area and than held in a hold pattern away from the
base, doing a fly over of the tarmac/hanger area in the missing man
formation
Frequencies active: 281.5, 251.1, 309.0

I monitor the training via the scanner every weekday that they fly,
normally out to W105 but on occasion up to the Fort Drum NY area. I've
heard some IFE's with the plane returning quickly to the field with the
wing man flying close by. Unfortunately, Lt Col Fotenot didn't have a
wing man next to him when his aircraft crashed. He was on a maintenance
mission to bring the aircraft to a facility in the south for upgrading
the radar.
