Cleaning out old files over the holidays and found a good one I had forgotten.
One of my trips to Ft. Bragg,NC I was talking with a friend about HF receivers and scanners.
When he found out I had an ICOM R-75, he ask to borrow it for antenna test and comparing current issue equipment.
Picked up my R-75 a month later and he said “that’s one great receiver”.
Did a little horse trading and got him to make me a 225-380 UHF voice only file.
We agreed to no Wideband,SATCOM and ILS.
I know there is voice comms in these areas, but it’s hit and miss.

Couple months later I had a file of 3,774 freqs.
Set up an EXCEL file and enter my logs plus what other Southeastern monitors had logged.
Set up a search file with anything that hadn’t been logged.
WAG is I have found over 200 freqs used during COMPTUEX.
Plus FAA and local bases.
I know it’s time consuming but worth the effort.

If you want a copy send me an e-mail.
