As I recall, the Radar Bomb Scoring Sites at Harrison, Arkansas & La
Junta, CO closed & transferred operations to Pecos, TX & Snyder, Texas,
respectively. The Harrison Bomb Plot frequency was 283.725 (I could
sometimes hear high-altitude runs against Harrison from my location) &
the frequency was apparently used (by Pecos) during the time the Pecos
site was open. I'm not sure what La Junta's frequency was during their
operations, but it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't 257.2, the same as
Snyder is currently. I also don't know how long the Pecos site was
open, but it looks like the USAF ultimately decided they only needed one
site in Texas.
