I gave the Voice Squelch Control on the IC-R20 a try Monday.
Freqs scanned were 11175, 13927, 11244 and 6697 in that order.
It would sit on a freq for about 1.7 seconds and if it detected voice it would stay on it till it thought the voice was gone.
6697 usually had the lowest noise floor so i could determine what freqs had voice when viewing the file.
Out of about 12 hours of recording (my hf reception is poor) i got this:

6697 Partial EAM from Bear Ant.
13927 Mars station
11175 Partial EAM from Andrews
11175 Red River calling ???14
11244 Pinon 07 calling Dragon 86 (not heard) and wished him a good trip across the pond. 11244 sounds like a strange freq for this.  If i accidentaly reversed the scan then it would have been 11175.

I left some of the scan when there was no activity in the video so you could see it function that way also.
