Last night on the way from Savannah, GA to Brunswick, GA on I-95 I listened
to some activity from A-10 flights THUNDER 01 and BLOODY 01-04 working at
Townsend Range on 228.400. The interesting part was on their air-to-air
frequency 138.150; some in the BLOODY flight were having issues with their
HMCS (Helmet Mounted Cueing System) and THUNDER 01 was apparently more
experienced with the system and was helping troubleshoot. It's the first
time I've heard A-10s out of Moody talking about the HMCS on the radio.
