Grits 51 (C-17A, Charleston AFB 437AW): passes message to MacDill's  
"Lightning Ops" on 311.0:  
"20 min out; landing  with 16K fuel; autopilot inop; 21 degrees in 
elevation during AAR not attainable  at 21,000 ft with 5 units trim; need birdbath 
on arrival."
