A recent article has me confused.
It is at http://www.920rqw.afrc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123361676
The caption to photo 2 states: "The 920th Rescue Wing received a
search-and-rescue aircraft from the 71st Rescue Squadron at Moody AFB, Ga. today.
The HC-130P King refueler replaced a WC-130J model used mostly for training
due to its lack of refueling capability. The tail of the new aircraft, seen
in the foreground bearing the initials "FT," will soon mirror those of the
920th's other fixed-wing aircraft in the background."
I know that the plane the 920th received is HC-130P 64-14853; I heard him
arrive on 22 Aug, and heard the pilot explain he was the new bird.
But Patrick did not have a WC-130J, they had a WC-130H "King 77" (65-0977).
