Subject: [MilCom] Hanscom AFB Departing Aircraft @ 2100 UTC
Anybody catch a high performance aircraft departing Hanscom AFB about 2100
UTC? Caught a visual as it went over my house but was unable to get to the
radio in time?
Heading southeast and departing quickly. Uncertain if it was military or
not. Did not look like your typical fighter, but from the sound of the
engine noise it did not sound like the typical private or commercial jet
when they depart Hanscom. Very loud with a long roar. May have been trying
to get out of the area quickly as there was an incoming storm.
