Spent Wednesday monitoring at Miramar. Not as much flight activity as I
usually see, but I found a couple of freqs that are new to me so I
thought I'd share the day with the list.

Freqs heard:
133.625 Miramar FC
236.3 Camp Pendleton GCA
236.45 unid a/a
239.25 Imperial Beach tower

249.8 Miramar VMGR-352 RAIDER a/c & base
249.875 A/R RAIDER (KC-130) & KNIGHT (F/A-18)
255.1 This appears to be an advisory freq for a practice or working area
near Brown Field. Heard a/c giving their locations - "4 miles east of
Brown Field", "working over Brown Field". Does anyone know it's actual
use?
255.2 STINGER a/c (Camp Pendleton AH-1) w/ Wild Eagle. This is a Camp
Pendleton range freq.

273.55 SoCal A/D - found this on a search. Heard the controller L&C on my
2042 even after programming it into a bank, but I couldn't hear anything
on this freq on my Pro-97. I was within 1/2 mile of the TRACON
transmitters. Is this a valid freq, or bleed over?

Side note: Logged 410.1625, 417.7625, 419.1625, 419.5625. The last three
were using PL82.5. "Miramar ground" ID'd on all four freqs. Users were
ground utility vehicles, AVCC, and PMO. These were PL operated, not part
of a TRS, yet the transmissions bounced around between these freqs. I
also heard 410.1625 & 419.1625 broadcasting simultaneously. Does anyone
have any idea how this system works?
