[MilCom] SNOWBIRD Flights May 19, 2012, Regina Sask.

The SNOWBIRDS (431 Air Demonstration, 15 Wing Moose Jaw) logged in Regina, Sask. between about 2045 and 2115 UTC May 19, 2012. 

SNOWBIRD 1 Flight (flight of 3) landed Regina. Consisted of SNOWBIRD 1, 3?, and 8. Working Winnipeg Centre 123.8, then Regina Tower 118.6, Regina Ground 121.9, Air to Air 272.1. Landed around 2100 UTC. SNOWBIRD 8 developed hydraulic problems moments before touchdown, therefore 1&3 did a low approach and then a left hand circuit, while 8 landed first. SNOWBIRD 1&3 then landed. SNOWBIRD 8 landed without incident. 

SNOWBIRD 5 Flight (flight of 3) a few minutes behind SNOWBIRD 1, also landed Regina. SNOWBIRD 5 Flight did a low approach and a SNOWBIRD pitch for a left hand circuit, with smoke ON. Air to Air 246.5, and the same VHF ATC frequencies were used. 

Not sure how long they are going to be in Regina. 15 Wing Moose Jaw is closed today, so it is not clear yet if the SNOWBIRDS will RON in Regina, or if this is just a short stopover and Moose Jaw is going to open up later so they can fly home.
