[MilCom] Obama "surprise" flight to Afghanistan

President Obama's "secret" flight to Afghanistan yesterday,  may have 
surprised a lot of folks, but I am proud to say it did not a surprise  to members 
of the MilRadioComms group.
   MilRadioComms group members detected planes leaving  Andrews early in 
the morning using false Hex code numbers, and with help from  MilRadioComms 
members in Europe, were able to determine that the flights were  disguised 
POTUS-trip support aircraft and Air Force One, although they did not  use their 
usual voice or transponder callsigns.
   Congratulations to the MilRadioComms members who cooperated in  this 
interesting and enjoyable detective work.
