Many thanks to everyone who responded to my posting. It has been confirmed
that Hurlburt Field's 6SOS C-130E "Talon 23" that I photographed was former
EC-130E 62-1857, and his hex code is AE2239.

Many thanks, Jack; I really appreciate this.
The C-130 I saw was at Patrick from about 9:30 to 10:30am on 2 March,
which coincides with the information in your log. Two of my photographs
of
this C-130 are at:

Your log shows C-130 AE2239 in the area at that same time.
There have been several discussions of the AE2239 Hex code in
RadioReference Forums for several years as well as in blogs and postings
to
Yahoogroups. The Hex has been applied to the US Coast Guards's HC-144A
"CG 2302,"
as well as to a Hurlburt AFB C-130E. No one has been able to confirm the
tail number of the C-130.
Well, on 2 March 2012 I took several pictures of the C-130E at Patrick,
and it appears that the nose/tail number might end in 67.
Your SBS Logs are always a great help to me; thanks again.
