[MilCom] A Great Friend and Monitor Has Passed Away

It is the deepest of saddest that I announce the passing of a good friend - 
Don Edwards, N2YPK.

Don's wife Nancy connected me this morning to let me know that he passed 
away yesterday after short battle with cancer. Nancy wrote: "He loved 
monitoring everything on the scanners and HF and loved sending the pictures 
of the same to Monitoring Times."

I have no other details regarding at this time and if nancy passes anything 
else along, I will pass it along to the various list. Will the admins at 
Milcom and NEMilAir please unsubscribe Don from the list so Nancy does not 
have to handle list mail to his email account. Thanks.

So to sign Don off, I'll pass along his sig line "Speak softly and carry a 
Glock." Rest in peace old friend.
