CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -
U.S. Air Force officials say a local military installation is being
evacuated because creepy critters have made a home out of their building.
Rats and mice ran amok in Building 5-57 at Patrick AFB.
The building houses employees of a high-tech firm involved in launch
countdowns on the Space Coast.
WESH 2 News stated asking questions about the rats, and the Air Force
investigated. They found the problem to be so bad, they ordered everyone to
leave by next week.
The Air Force base says they are working to resolve the issue.
