Tuesday night i recorded a local center freq 316.1 and heard the controller talking to Torch 32.
Torch 32 (419 Flight Test Squadron at Edwards) probably flew north out of R-2508 and contacted oakland center. The 419 tests the heavy bombers. The controller asked if he was going to delay in the dreamland area. That's what is sounds like to me anyways. Torch 32 was handed off to Salt Lake center. Later a airliner was told that there was a pretty substantial area released north of reveille moa/atcaa with routes going out at different altitudes. Still later another airliner was going to have to descend to 37,000 due to military released airspace in Salt Lake center area. Sounds like they needed more room than just the NTTR alone that night. Recording time from about midnight to 4am.
