Yes, Michael that was 85-0002 - Fixer 50, a shiny, new C-5M off the line at
the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia. It was the second C-5
inducted into the Reliability Enhancement and Re-engining Program, or RERP,
production line in jan of last year. I caught it on my Mode-S box using its
C-5B Hex code AE055F signing Fixer 50 in the c/s field. I believe that this
aircraft is scheduled to return to the 436AW based at KDOV. I have had
C-130 aircraft out of Lockheed use that call in the past, so my best guess
is 85-0002 is probably still in the custody of Lockheed at this point. Will
keep an eye out for him up here in the Snowbird.
