[MilCom] Sheppard AFB area am log

Morning to Blaine, Bradford, Shane and all,

The Caddo call sign has been IDed to the C-17s assigned to the 97AMW at
Altus. AR-400 is scheduled by the 97 OSS Altus and the primary AR freq as
published in the Nov 2009 issue of MT is 228.450/364.325 MHz secondary.

Flight altitudes for this AR are FL240/FL260. The south end ARCP for this AR
is at the Garden City VORTAC. Not out of the question that Shane could hear
them, but a bit of a stretch if they were heading north on the route. But
they may not have been on the AR when he heard them. I have heard aircraft
here in the east, heading west, using their AR primary and secondary as A-A
chit chats. It is one of the reasons why I recommend a bank with AR freqs in
them to catch the occasional transits through your area.

Just some thoughts, now its time for the Chief to get his morning coffee.
