I agree, Frank.  There are 309 million people in the US and we only have 
what, about 5-10 people that post on this list regularly?  I would think 
that any device that brings more people into this odd little hobby would 
be beneficial.... also, it would give the vast, cool intellects that 
reside here a chance to transfer a small portion of their knowledge to 
the great unwashed masses............including me!
