[MilCom] SNOWBIRD 14 FLIGHT - July 28, 2010

Greetings everyone,

Logged SNOWBIRD 14 flight, a flight of either 3 or 4 I think, in Regina. Around 0100 UTC Thurs July 29 (which is 1900 hrs local time, Wed July 28), SNOWBIRD 14 flight landed at the Regina airport. Working Regina Tower ATC on 118.6, and air to air on 272.1. They were unable to do a low approach and Snowbird pitch as requested due to other air traffic, so they did a straight in landing for runway 13 and a full stop.

Later, while driving, at 0245 UTC (2045 hrs local time), I visually saw them doing a fly-by of Mosaic Stadium in Regina for the Bon Jovi outdoor concert. I did not have a scanner with me. :-( Unfortunately I had to keep at least one eye on the road while driving. :-( Bon Jovi was scheduled to go on stage at 2030, so likely the fly-by coincided with his entrance on stage. 

Not sure if Bon Jovi's other concerts on his tour had or will have fly-bys or not. :-)
