Heads up, New York! 

A Navy jet is scheduled to do a military flyover this morning between 9:30
and 10, officials say. 

The EA-6B Prowler will pass over the Verrazano Bridge and head north up the
Hudson River, according to the NYPD, which issued the alert late yesterday. 

The hope is to avoid a repetition of what happened last April, when Air
Force One flew over the Statue of Liberty for a photo shoot -- sending
9/11-haunted New Yorkers running for cover.
