After flying out of Mildenhall in the UK for many years, 63-8045 has been
flying 6AMW and 927ARW flights out of MacDill AFB for the past 6 months.
During that period, he has used all of the callsigns of MacDill tankers:
"Bolt," "Pirate" and "Piston." He has also flown Coronet tanker missions out of
MacDill during this period.
If you check the numerous logs of his flights for the past 6 months, you
can clearly see he is a MacDill AFB bird.
I think the reason the SBS-1 database sites show it as a Fairchild 92ARW
bird is that they dropped the "7" in 927ARW.
A friend of mine and member of my MilRadioComms group is going to notify
owner of the SBS data base site to get it updated.
