[MilCom] West Coast P-3s on 8971

Saturday and Sunday morning weak coms on 8971.
Western Sky (Tactical support center North Island NAS) 
and Dragon Claw 801 and 802 (P-3 orions) heard.
Durring a turnover of 801 and 802, coordinates of a sonobuoy were 
given that was in W-291. I goofed a little in the google earth pic
but the accurate coordinate is practicaly in the same place.
 Abraham Lincoln is in a COMPTUEX in W-291 now so
this might be related to it.  
At one point, a P-3 says there are in good coms with home plate
via 25k.  What is 25k? Maybe he ment at flight leve 25k.
