     The US Army Technical Test Center which has been based at Fort Rucker for many years is now closed,although some of the aircraft remain their temporarily.The U.S Army has ordered that the New Redstone Technical Test Center be active by Oct 2010,although provisional now with some Flight tests being conducted.Redstone Army Airfield has already seen the construction of 2 7,000 square foot test centers begin,and the movement of some personal with the rest of the 300 employees and aircraft moving over the next 2 years.
      The RTTC team has been up to Arnold Afb recently in a UH-60 talking to them about using their rarely used 5,000 foot runway and adjoining areas for an outlying Aircraft Test Area.
