And for the civil sdie of things:
Today at approximately 100 Pm local time 2 planes collided over KDCU
(Pryor field Regional Airport) today during their open house,the two planes involved were from Muscle Shoals Area,one of the planes hit the other during flight sheering off the wing,sending it to the ground,killing the pilot who was  41 years old,he was flying a RV-8.The other planes suffered heavy damage and was able to land at the airport which is east of Calhoun Community College,where the wreckage of the aircraft landed in front of the Health Sciences Building.The Faa was on the scene today and have done some preliminary investgation,secured the scene with law Enforcement overnight and the FAA and NTSB will be on the scene tomorrow.
