That statement is grossly over the top, but unfortunately a small 
minority of English police officers have exceeded their authority under 
the law and allowed this myth to spread. However, I would not recommend 
anyone to go up to the perimeter fence of a UK military field and take 
photos - unless it is an airshow day.
