About two weeks ago, a friend of mine was photographing a visiting KC-130T
landing at Patrick. My friend was standing on the beach across the street
from Patrick AFB and photographing the plane as it was flying over the
beach toward the approach end of Rnwy 29.

The Patrick MPs came along, demanded the camera and asked my buddy how to
delete the photos. He told them how, and they deleted the photos. They
chewed him out a bit before departing. No threats, but a good chewing out.

This is utter foolishness because you can take the same photos from an
automobile if you drive along A-1A, the highway between the beach and the
Patrick grounds. Utter foolishness.
