[MilCom] ARMY C-12G Tie Up

Picked up this morning N23380 for the 2nd time in days ...1st time at 
22,000ft ...today down from 10,000ft to 3,200ft

Anyway I went to LEX to get a BBJ that had landed last night....to my 
surprise Army "23380' RC-12G was sitting on the ramp in full Orange c/s ...

Its real hexcode unknown ....so put two and two together and get:

80-23380 RC-12G (FC-2) is hexcode A2172E

I had it stored and belonging to the USAF ...so its US ARMY and "ACTIVE"

Does anyone know what the role of this is/was and unit it belongs to....and 
why the bad hexcode  ....strange ..

It seemed to be devoid of the weird wing tip things seen on google ..



Bearing in mind the old N23380 C150 is reported sold on FAA...
