John,

It definitely is a female on the ISS. Sandra Mangus is a grad of Georgia 
Tech and was brought to the station during the last shuttle mission.

But this is definitely NOT anything to do with Milcom so this topic is 
closed and a reminder, no hams comms allowed here.
