1836Z - 1940Z : 3 possibly 4 P-3s heading down to Jacksonville. They were gabbing on 303.000 for about 10min until someone kicked them off 'This is a protected freq??'
Then they switched to 246.800. Talking about housing, The Gold Breeze, ASW work, how long it was taking to get there, who would by drinks, JPATS training and whether they could get into and type (T-34 or T-6). Whether it was a good thing to go to ??VP-3?? which I think is long since gone.
Only one I could ID thru ATC was Navy LK 11 and I think he was the last in line. Someone on another board heard them as well and wondered if they were P-3s.
So .... has Brunswick started losing its planes??
