[MilCom] Snowbird arrivals

Hi All,
About five minutes ago a flight of 6 F-16's came into DMA with callsign Stinger, as I type this another flight of 5 F-16's c/s Buckeye are on final to DMA.  I would guess that these 11 F-16's are from the OHANG and are here for winter ops known as Snowbird Ops.  This is a yearly event where various ANG groups come in for 2 week intervals to take advantage of the weather and range availability.  They usually begin just after Thanksgiving and go til the last week in April.
