[MilCom] Combat exercise

May be related to a short snippet I heard this morning about 3AM EST +/- an hour (I was doing some other stuff and didn't get all the info., sorry) [so that should be about 0800 UTC if I'm doing my conversion correctly] on 121.5 that was a VERY strong signal said something about traffic to the northeast of Fort Wayne (presumably Indiana :-) ) from my QTH in West Central Indiana.  I was a bit surprised by the completely no-noise strength of the signal as I have no external antennas right now - even when transmissions are from something that I know is close to overhead or otherwise nearby I generally don't hear anything that sounds so "in-the-same-room" as this did - I wish I had heard more of it.

This is just a few days after hearing what was I think a UPS plane get jumped by what was probably a controller on 121.5, probably THAT was unrelated but curious coincidence........
