I have been monitoring the system for the last two weeks now. It is a new 380-400 MHz system from Camp Merrill in Lumpkin County near Dahlonega . The site you are seeing is Tower 1010 probably on Black Mtn. There is also Tower 909 currently on 386.850, but they have tested another freq. There is more, but I won't pass that along just yet. The new system is just started in the testing phase two weeks ago and I do not want to put additional info out until they get out of testing and we can see things stabilize. This is System ID 01e, which is part of the Fort Benning 380-400 MHz TRS. I will have more on the MMP blog when things stabilize out.

386.4- S-9+10 signal that sounds just like a control channel. Some say its P25. The freq is up 24/7 very very loud here. This freq just popped up in the last few weeks.

Here is a link to my post on radio reference about it.

        Anyone have any ideas?
