[MilCom] AR-111 West active

0900L/1400Z:

SODA 81 (KC-135R, Knoxville/TN ANG) is about to start
AR Ops W/BANSHEE 01 x 5 (EA-6B, VMAQ-1, Cherry Point)
on AR-111 West.  They are having a little trouble
getting each other visually.  

Boom freq is primary 348.9

BuNo's passed:  
BANSHEE 01 = 161242
BANSHEE 02 = 163888
BANSHEE 03 = 161348
BANSHEE 04 = 160432
BANSHEE 05 = 16xxxx  (someone keyed up as he talked)


They went thru 3 different freqs prior to settling on
348.9  Started off on 303.0 (SODA Control) and then
switched to AR primary 240.35 (AR-633A/B) then went
348.9

Great news as i type:  "we're tallyho, have you in
sight."

>From what i can gather, these guys must have spent the
night in Knoxville cause they told center if they
couldn't find SODA 81 they'd have to return to
Knoxville.   Prob why they started out a/a on 303.0  
I had no idea the Knoxville tankers were set up for
Navy/USMC refueling.
