I wondered if maybe that was the case. Not surprised
that Collings has the "civvie"; I get the feeling that
they DO have the deep pockets needed.
It surprises me that Uncle Sam would allow this -
given how many famous aircraft they've cut up for
scrap in the past, usually these birds at BEST end up
either in a museum or "on a stick".
But I'm glad to see that some Phantoms will make the
show circuit. That's a real animal!!!!
