This could be an interesting exercise in determining the veracity of the 
report.  I have heard the program from time to time but can't remember 
whether I like it or not :)   I think I do.

Did you hear just the EAMs he mentioned or something else?

There are other ways to check up, I suspect.  Friends in the military? 
Contractors?  Relatives of people?  Live near any bases?  Something else 
out of the ordinary?
