Not much listening today but when i did have time it was depressing. It's back to normal. It's sad when the only way we get fighters is for a dadgum special event (maybe 3 a year). And when they waste tax dollars to visit mama or relatives but refuse to come thru Nashville for a gas n go unless you are one of four pilots from VX-23.

JIMBO 71 x 2 (T-38C, 49th FTS/14th FTW, Columbus) W/Memphis Ctr 288.35>
257.75>285.55>307.0 (A/A: 143.325)
After a nice weekend in Louisville. I guess the Atlantic FBO in Louisville don't charge for air carts like the money hungry communist FBO in Nashville does or they'd tell Louisville no thanks like here.

RAM 11 (F/A-18C, VFA-83, Oceana) calling Ft Campbell Ops 230.1 asking for a gas n go quick turn. (It's ok for them to land at Nashville for a weekend with family but not for a gas n go. These do not require power nor air to start so don't know what his excuse was)

And something 51 also going into Ft Campbell for gas.

Some reason Nashville is not an approved stop. From how some pilots talk its about security! Somehow Knoxville, Louisville, etc is more secure than Nashville. I guess they think we're hillbilly's running around in overalls and bare feet with no airport perimeter fence, no police, no cameras, and the FBO's must close (which they don't, open 24-7). Well yee haww!! We're as secure as any other airport. Damn, i wish BRAC would ax Campbell, or at least the civilian contractors up there that turn these yo yo's. How would i get a job with them?
