[MilCom] VMFA-142 "Flying Gators" Farewell 1942-2008

Had the pleasure of being invited to VMFA-142's Cadre Ceremony today at 
NAS Atlanta,GA. Tremendous event put together by the men and women of 
Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 142; Based out of NAS Atlanta,GA.

At 3:00pm local; GATOR-11 x3 departed on a ceremonial last flight. They 
returned around an hour later and landed (With the firetruck salute, Of 
course!)

Jets were:
#162400/MB-200
#162433/MB-202
#163131/MB-209

Was supposed to be a four ship but MB-208 had a maintenance issue.

At 6:00pm; The cadre began and lasted approximately an hour; Which 
ended with the squadron colors being cased after 66 years of unmatched 
service; The squadron now rests until further notice.
