Greetings everyone,

Discovery Channel Canada is airing a weekly television series entitled
"Jetstream", documenting a group of students going through the fighter
pilot training program at 410 Squadron, 4 Wing, CFB Cold Lake. The film
crew apparently spent about 9 months or so at Cold Lake filming the
activities of the students as they go through the program. Jetstream airs
on Discovery Channel Canada on Tuesday nights, and is repeated at various
times throughout the remainder of the week. Viewers in Canada can check
local listings.

For the many people on this list who do not have access to Discovery
Channel Canada, you're not out of the picture. Videos of the program can
be viewed on the Discovery Channel website, available on streaming video
about 1 week after on air broadcast. Go to the Discovery Channel website:

http://www.discoverychannel.ca/

On the right side of the main home page, you will see "featured videos".
You will find that "Jetstream" Episode 1 "The Rookies" is now available
for viewing. The program is divided into 6 parts, with each part being
about a 10 minute video.

You can also select "Shows" from the main Discovery Channel home page, and
then find the "Jetstream" program web page. The website has some excellent
background material related to the program. There is lots of interesting
material there, including photos, videos, and information on the CF18, as
well as clips of outtakes from the broadcast program.

In my opinion, an excellent documentary of the students, the hard work
they have to do and the troubles and challenges they face, and the 410
Fighter Training program.

Regards,

Rob
