An update on the Canadian Hornet that shredded both
tires upon landing here:  Miraculously both tires held
their air and the tire tread was the part that
shredded.  The ANG came over to the FBO to tow it to
the ANG hangar and as they were limping it down the
taxiway both tires decided they've had enough and
blew.  The aircraft was now disabled on an active
taxiway but after a little while they were able to get
it moving again and now it's finally in the hangar at
the ANG getting the much needed repairs.  The Mechs as
well as the parts were trucked up from Key West.  The
original plan was to fly them all up in a CC-130 but i
guess that fell thru.
