DNC starting to wind down a bit.

121.60: MUSSEL-99, (UH-1N, Andrews), cleared to North Platte, NE. ((May be
heading back to Andrews as he had maintenance issues the whole time he was
here.))
328.025: DEATH-72, (B-2A, Whiteman), calling KNIGHT Ops, (Peterson).
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), cleared out on VR-413.
Noted
on 126.20 working with a notional AWAC, (DRAGNET), in Airburst Range and
Veta/Chama MOA.
121.00: MUSSEL-96 & 97, (UH-1N, Andrews), flying local patterns at Buckley.
121.00: NIGHTHAWK-5, 3, 1 & 4, (UH-60, Buckley), using night mission
callsigns, but flying local patterns at Buckley.
319.00: BANDIT-11, (F-5, VFC-111, Key West), with Denver Center, FL 300.
Descending to 260 and switch 354.05. Probably land Grand Junction.
379.95: LOBO-71, (B-52, Barksdale), with Denver Center, FL 200.
318.05: JOSA-444, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs.
318.05: REACH 594, (C-17A), land Colorado Springs.

372.20: JOSA-902, (C-21A), calling Peterson PTD.
275.80: PEAK-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), runway alert. Scramble
cancelled before takeoff. PEAK-31 finally got airborne later on and flew a CAP over
the Denver area.
126.20: DAGGER-01, 02 & 03, (C-26B), working with DAGGER Ops. Patrolling
area around Invesco Field during the DNC wrap-up festivities. Callsign
MURPHY,
(C-26 back end crew) also noted.
271.00: DAGGER, OMAHA (helis) and PEAK (Buckley F-16s), working with
BIGFOOT
282.60: OMAHA-04 & 06 working with BIGFOOT in vicinity of Centennial
Airport.
These 2 were noted heading for Colorado Springs late, (2300 MDT), last
evening.
134.85: Denver Departure working with PEAK, DAGGER, OMAHA and
EAGLE-1, (Denver PD heli), in the area around the TFR.
134.85: OMAHA-04 & 06 noted heading for Colorado Springs at altitudes 220 -
230.
Don't think these were helis. Denver mentioned something about KingAir 1900s
to
another aircraft, but not sure he was referring to OMAHAs.
All the commotion should be about over now, so hopefully things will start to
return to normal tomorrow. All-in-all an amazingly trouble-free convention.
