I tried to mail this 3 days ago but it never made the list or to Greg I
guess.
The frequency is actually 237.9 which is the new USCG Air Secondary. I
originally published this one and the complete new set of UHF CG air freqs
in my MT Milcom column several years ago. It was one of the first signs we
had that DoD was shaking up the 225-400 MHz spectrum. I am sure that
complete set is posted on the Milcom Monitoring Post blog page for those
that need them. You can do a search using the template in the upper left
hand corner and the address is below.
The list on the cutter is definitely in error. Those CG personnel are going
to have fun talking on a nationwide ATC allocation (267.9)
On a side note, my old good friend Gene Hughes-Costin passed away last
weekend. Most of the old timers will remember that Gene was the creator and
publisher of Police Call. I have the obit on my personal blog (address
below) for those that are interested.
