And the fun starts, the annual I need the freq for (and you fill in the
team). ;-))) First, there are no east coast or west coast freqs for this
team.

The latest information on the team, including the four new VHF freqs found
in the last two weeks by field monitors and some possible additional freqs
that need to be watched can be found exclusively on the Milcom Monitoring
Post blog at
http://mt-milcom.blogspot.com/2008/04/late-breaking-news-another-new-tbird.html.
On the right hand side of the page you will find a section labeled "Milcom
Blog Guide to Airshows." This is your online guide for all things airshow
and the links in this section of the blog include:

-Another New TBird VHF Freq Uncovered
-New Thunderbird VHF Airshow Aircraft Freqs
-Canadian Forces Snow Birds 2008 Schedule
-CanForce Skyhawks Parachute Team 2008 Schedule
-Milcom Monthly Airshow-Flyby Event Schedule
-Monitoring Times 2007 Airshow Guide
-US Air Force Thunderbirds 2008 Schedule
-US Army Golden Knights 2008 Schedule
-US Army Silver Wings 2008 Schedule
-US Navy Blue Angels 2008 Schedule

If you didn't get the March 2008 issue of Monitoring Times then you missed
our annual airshow issue that has the most complete coverage anywhere of the
airshow monitoring scene. You can get a copy of the 2007 airshow guide from
one of the links above and with the breaking news links I have posted have a
pretty complete picture of the TBird radio spectrum.

As a courtesy to the folks who pay the freight by buying or subscribing to
MT, we won't be posting the 2008 airshow guide (the 9th annual edition)
until the end of April. Watch the blog for an announcement of this and the
link.

So Ricky, if you make the show hopefully you and others will file a report
on what you have heard. That is how the MT Airshow Guide is updated through
the help of monitors like you in the field. And a reminder, even if we have
the freq on our list, please pass them along anyway. That is how the freqs
stay on the list. Otherwise, if we don't see them reported, we drop them
off.

So to all of you who will attend a show this year, have fun, happy hunting,
and please send the list here a report, or you can send it privately to me
if you wish to wear your anonymous hat.
