FWIW, April is a common month for these events at least in this
decade.  Last year's event began on 01 Apr 07 (a Sunday) and
apparently ended two weeks later (based on the "standing by for
traffic" statements) on 14 Apr 07.  This year's event apparently began
on the 1st weekend of April.  This may be the GLOBAL THUNDER exercise.
