A busy Thursday.
121.00: FLIGHT CHECK 75, (Beech 300), checking out Buckley's systems. Land;
then on to Scottsbluff, NE.
319.00: SHARK-11, (A-10, Pope/Moody), with Denver Center, FL 270.
Switch 354.15 and 346.25. Request direct Tinker.
121.60: REACH 6154, (C-130, Little Rock), cleared to Travis.
269.075: DEATH-72, (B-2A, Whiteman), with Denver Center, FL 410.
311.00: TAHOE-31, (KC-135, Beale), comm checks with Unk.
239.025: ROPER-45, (T-38A, Beale), land Colorado Springs.
239.025: RANDY-21, flight of 2, (T-38C, Randolph), land Colorado Springs.
239.025: TULSA-91, (F-16, OK-ANG), land Colorado Springs after doing some
sightseeing in the Pikes Peak area.
377.05: EVIL-1, (Unk bomber type), with Denver Center, FL 340. Switch
380.15.
Request direct Wilson Creek (VORTAC). ((Possible Barksdale B-52))
291.675: TEXAS-91, flight of 4, (F-16, TX-ANG), land; then cleared to Hayden,
(CO).
After Hayden, cancelled IFR, switched callsign to TEXAS-1 and flew VFR down
to Colorado Springs for a fly-by at the AF Academy on 289.40. After the fly-by,
did some sightseeing in the area and recovered at Colorado Springs.
377.05: BATT-71, (B-2A, Whiteman), with Denver Center, FL 360. Switch
380.15.
275.80: STUD-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Veta/Chama MOA.
275.80: PEAK-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), practice scramble. Didn't do
much of anything other than contact BIGFOOT on 271.00 and 296.70.
275.80: RIVAL-31, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Airburst Range.
121.00: LADYACE-01, (CH-46), land. Looked like a USMC heli.
121.00: RANGER-13, (KC-130T, VMGR-234, Fort Worth), land. Then took off and
did about 1 1/2 hours worth of pattern work before landing for RON.
372.20: DILLON-1, (C-21A, CO-ANG), takeoff Colorado Springs. Return later.
377.05: BATT-71, (B-2A, Whiteman), with Denver Center, FL 350. Switch
346.25.
275.80: REDEYEs, STUDs & RIVALs cleared out for night flying in Cheyenne
MOA. Supposed to be AR with TURBO, (KC-135, McConnell), in the MOA, but
didn't hear it.
